Privacy Policy

Viable Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202143569C), Singapore, is the data controller for bindex.dev. Effective [pending] · Draft v1.0 for counsel review. We follow Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) as our primary framework and honor GDPR/UK GDPR rights for users in the EEA and UK.

What we collect

Account data: name, work email, company, role, sign-in events. Authentication is passwordless; we never store passwords.
Content you submit: listings, announcements, articles, media, job postings, and correction or suggestion messages, which may include contact details you choose to include.
Subscriptions: email address and signup context for the digest and notification lists.
Usage analytics: aggregate interaction events via Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode; we configure analytics never to receive search text, form contents, names or emails. See "Cookies" below.
Payments: handled by Stripe. Card details never touch our servers. We store your billing entity details, tax IDs you provide, invoices and plan status.
Logs: standard technical logs (IP, user agent) for security and rate limiting.

What we use it for

Operating the Platform (accounts, listings, publishing, moderation); sending what you asked for (magic links, receipts, renewal notices, the digest you subscribed to); measuring aggregate usage; billing; preventing abuse; complying with law. We do not sell personal data, and we do not send marketing to transactional-only contacts.

Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Contract performance (accounts, plans), legitimate interests (security, aggregate analytics, B2B communications about the service), consent (analytics cookies, newsletters), legal obligation (tax and accounting records).

Service providers acting under contract: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Google Analytics (usage measurement), Logo.dev (brand-mark lookup by company domain; no personal data), our hosting and infrastructure providers, and professional advisers where required. We disclose personal data if required by law, and as part of a corporate transaction with equivalent protections.

International transfers

We operate from Singapore with providers in the US and elsewhere. Where GDPR applies, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses maintained by our providers.

Retention

Account and content data for the life of the account plus a reasonable wind-down period; invoices and tax records at least 5 years (Singapore requirements); analytics per GA4 retention settings (14 months); logs up to 12 months. You may delete submitted content at any time as described in the Terms.

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction and objection (as applicable under PDPA or GDPR), and withdrawal of consent at any time. Newsletter emails contain one-click unsubscribe. Requests: privacy@bindex.dev. We respond within 30 days. EEA/UK users may complain to their supervisory authority; Singapore users to the PDPC.

Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies (session, security) always on. Analytics cookies load only with consent in the EEA/UK (consent bar; declining leaves analytics cookieless). We use no advertising cookies and no third-party ad trackers; sponsor placements on Bindex are directly sold, first-party rendered, and do not track you.

Children

The Platform is a business service and not directed at anyone under 18.
